On my website, I discuss bike routes, which in my view are the most interesting in the Sudets. If a cyclist is looking purely for an adrenaline kick, then he will find it here. However, he will also miss much more. Whether adventurer, nature lover or mountain biker, an interest in history is a must? Here they will find dozens of historic buildings, old military forts, bunkers and secret tunnels.

Polish and Czech mountain bikers today, are among the best in the world. In sport where strength and endurance are key and paradoxically the best results come from the women: Maja Włoszczowska: World Champion and Vice European Champion 2010,  European Champion 2009, Vice-Beijing 2008 Olympic Champion, World Champion in Mountain Bike Marathon 2003, Vice World Champion 2007, 2005 and 2004, as well as several Polish national champion, Aleksandra Dawidowicz: World and European Champion 2009 Category U23, Anna Szafraniec: 4 Placement EM 2009 and 5 in the World Cup 2009, Jakub Riha: 3 World ranking 2009 Category 4-Cross, Marek Konwa: 5 placing at the World Cup and EM 2009 Category U23 and Piotr Brzózka: 8 positioning EM 2009 Category U23.The outstanding sporting achievements were not without influence on the purely amateur cyclists. Mountain biking is now one of the fastest growing sports in Poland and the Czech Republic for cyclists of all ages and abilities. Numerous mountain bike competitions now take place for riders of all levels and it’s no coincidence that most of these take place in the Sudetes; very few mountain ranges in Europe have so much variety at such a relatively low altitude. Almost every peak can be climbed without dismounting the bike.
